But here’s the catch: 6 hours go fast! There’s little to no time for getting ready photos, or for documenting those candid behind-the-scenes moments that add so much heart to your gallery. I rarely recommend this unless you’re planning an intimate elopement-style event or prioritizing only a portion of the day.
8 Hours of Coverage: The Most Popular Choice (With Some Limitations)
This is the package most of my couples at Jackson Manor Events choose, and for good reason. You get a lot of coverage, from details to the send-off, but everything needs to be planned very intentionally. With 8 hours, your timeline might look like:
- 30 minutes of detail shots
- Groom and groomsmen getting ready + portraits
- Bride and bridesmaids getting ready (very limited)
- Ceremony
- Family portraits

So while this package gives you a “full day” feel, it doesn’t leave much wiggle room.
10 Hours of Coverage: For the Full Experience and a Relaxed, Documentary Feel

A 10-hour package allows me to photograph:
